The Mitchell Group enters the high performance vinyl upholstery market with the Grand Slam collection designed for healthcare, contract, hospitality, or any commercial application that requires superior strength and durability, announced Bill Fisch, president.
Far exceeding performance standards set by the Association for Contract Textiles (ACT) for commercial grade upholstery, Mitchell’s Grand Slam collection:
* Is a strong, durable product specifically designed for high traffic, rigorous commercial applications.
* Is environmentally friendly and does not contain any of the seven most common phthalates typically found in vinyl products.
* Has a superior chemical resistance, tested and proven to withstand disinfectants and chemical cleaners most widely used in commercial environments.
* Safe to use, antibacterial, as well as fire retardant and mildew resistant.
“We spent considerable time researching and developing our first high performance vinyl collection,” said Fisch.
“We believe the Grand Slam collection is precisely what the vinyl upholstery marketplace has been asking for. Customers will appreciate that the Grand Slam collection offers superior strength and durability, and is able to withstand the strong cleaners used in commercial environments today,” Fisch said.
The Grand Slam collection consists of eight fashion forward patterns and over 80 designer selected colorways. All the collection’s patterns have a soft, supple hand and leather-like feel that is easy to upholster and very comfortable in use.
Mitchell’s newest Grand Slam vinyl collection joins the company’s other commercial and residential upholstery brands: Sta-Kleen®, ReCast® and The Mitchell Collection.
