Finally, a natural fiber for upholstery that passes ACT standards. Tencel+Plus™ upholstery is manufactured from the FSC and/or PEFC certified wood pulp cellulose that comes from Eucalyptus trees. Best known for the fabulous green story, the FSC certified Eucalyptus trees are rapidly renewable resources, and only need sunlight & rain to grow to their full maturity of 120’ in 8 years. The trees are processed with minimal energy, water and chemicals in a proprietary Lyocell production process at Lenzing Fibers. Tencel+Plus™Lyocell is the only certified textile from Eucalyptus engineered for hospitality and verified by Lenzing Fibers for both commercial performance requirements and fiber origin. Each fabric carries a numbered certification from Lenzing.
The collection spans 5 volumes and the 413 items includes clean designs, sophisticated textures and rich, dazzling colors.
All fabrics in this collection are made in the USA, pass NFPA 260, 50,000 double rubs and exceed all other requirements for heavy duty upholstery use.
