BIG is enormous in terms of both size and innovation, revolutionising the traditional concept of a ceiling and pendant light which up to now has been practical but often too small and understated. BIG exceeds all expectations: it is a light fixture which provides ambient illumination, achieving a light quality akin to a real skylight. Just as the light intensity from a natural skylight changes with the hours of the day the BIG is dimmable creating suitable lighting for a wide range of situations. It is a minimalist expression of fixture design– its acrylic diffuser takes up virtually the entire diameter, with its only flourish a slim chrome band around the outside. As a pendant the fixture suspends from adjustable cables and can be angled as desired. A line of these fixtures at different angles provides large amounts of concentrated, direct light. Both versions, ceiling and pendant, can be combined providing general and focused light as desired.
