MAPEI Americas manufactures reliable, easy-to-use, technologically advanced systems for tile and stone installation, floor-covering installation, and concrete restoration.
Fifteen locations in Canada, the United States, the Caribbean and South America employ more than 1,100 men and women who develop, produce, sell and support MAPEI products.
The people at MAPEI Americas make the company successful. Over 12% of the employees work in Research and Development. Their emphasis is on making innovative, technologically superior products available for the company’s customers.
These products include the lightweight technology found in Ultralite Mortar, which weighs half as much as traditional mortars while providing excellent slip-resistant properties for tiles and stone applied to walls and floors.
MAPEI's Dust-Free Technology, which produces 90% less dust during preparation and mixing, can be found in Ultraflex 2, the company's most popular mortar. Dust-Free Technology provides a cleaner workplace for installers and a cleaner environment for residents.
MAPEI grouts come in 36 designer colors that give consumers a broad palette for accenting their tile and stone. These grouts are available in innovative cementitious formulas such as Ultracolor Grout, which prevents mottling and effloresence in the grout, and Opticolor grout with epoxy resin durability and stain resistance.
Workers in MAPEI operations around the Americas are highly trained to produce adhesives, sealants, mortars, grouts and other installation and restoration products according to exacting standards. They continuously focus on quality of products and quality of service.
The MAPEI sales force is dedicated to being the knowledgeable manufacturer’s representative available locally to every customer. Sales representatives regularly update their technical knowledge with training from the technical representatives at the MAPEI Technical Institutes in Deerfield Beach, Florida and Laval, Canada.
MAPEI’s Technical Services team supports individual customers through planning work, troubleshooting problems, reviewing product claims and testing materials for quality. The Technical Consultants have an average of 15 years’ experience in their chosen field.
The Customer Service staff is the first point of contact for customers as products move from MAPEI’s warehouses to theirs. Superior service is available everywhere in the Americas through 1-800-42-MAPEI (62734), a number that automatically connects callers from Canada to Argentina with their nearest facility.
Through quality management practices, MAPEI seeks to bring value to its customers, leadership and innovation to the market, excellence to manufacturing practices, satisfaction to employees and colleagues, and successful growth to the company.
